Dr. Teri D. Davis is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of offering evidence-
based treatments for a wide-range of mental health concerns including anxiety, PTSD,
depression, substance abuse as well as sexual trauma. She specializes in treating these
conditions in women, including women of color and military populations with formal training in
women Veterans and military-related mental health care.
Dr. Davis is also a college professor of undergraduate and graduate-level psychology with Cal
State University-Fullerton and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology-Los Angeles.
Dr. Davis is also a researcher with the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Healthcare System (VA)
where she investigates how to better the treatment of depression and relative mental health
conditions in primary care settings. She holds a dual research appointment at UCLA where she
studies sexual trauma and resulting mental health conditions in culturally diverse populations,
largely including women. To date, she has published 12 peer-reviewed journal articles on these
Dr. Davis hails from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and has lived in California for nearly 10 years.
She enjoys college football season (Go Sooners!), spending time with family and friends
including her new puppy, (Zeb), cooking and community service efforts.
